Here is my pick of the 20 best films of the last decade. This list isn't based on box office success or awards but rather on 3 factors...

Good Idea?
So I thought it might be a good idea to start a blog?
For no real descent reason I have always loathed the whole idea of blogging, but just like myspace and facebook, years of defiance have lead to me finally giving in again...
So I think I'll use this blog to report on my adventures in the cut throat film industry.
Yesterday I found out I was accepted into the Graduate Certificate in Directing course at AFTRS in Victoria... now to accept or not accept that is the question?
The idea of packing up my shit and moving to Melbourne for a minimum of 6 months is definitely very intriguing concept. But is it worth it? 2009 has been a great year for me in Adelaide, I'm busier than I've ever been, got a good job related to Film & Video, have built a great network of collaborators and have many projects on the go here in Adelaide, so moving to Melbourne, where I'll be back at square one isn't exactly the most logical thing to do at this moment in time... But how cool would it be to have a complete change of surroundings and get out of Adelaide for a while? Hmmm, it is a tough choice. I'll get back to you on this one.
First Blog over.
